Refund policy

What is refunded automatically, what you can ask for, and who pays you back.

Draft: not yet reviewed

This is a draft that has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Words in dashed boxes are placeholders the owner sets before launch.

This policy covers money you paid for Clipwright. Payments are taken by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, so a refund of money comes back through Dodo Payments to the way you paid. We, Entity name: placeholder, set by the owner, decide what is refunded; Dodo Payments sends it.

Credits for a render that did not finish

You do not need to ask. Credits are reserved when a GPU render starts and charged only when the film is done. If a render fails, or you cancel it, the credits come back to your balance at once.

The plan

You can cancel the plan at any time; it stays active until the end of the period you paid for. If you are not happy, write to us within refund window for a new plan: placeholder, set at launch of your first payment and we will refund that payment.

GPU credit top-ups

Unused credits from a top-up can be refunded within refund window for credits: placeholder, set at launch of buying them. Credits already used for a finished render are not refunded; if a finished film is not what we promised, write to us and we will look at it.

Disputes and mistakes

If you were charged by mistake, or twice, tell us and we will put it right. Please write to us before you open a dispute with your bank: an open dispute freezes the account while it is settled.

Your rights under the law

Nothing here takes away rights you have under the law where you live, including any right to cancel.

How to ask

Write to support@clipwright.studio: placeholder address, set by the owner from the email on your account, with what you bought and when.
