What is new.
The newest first. What you can do now, in plain words.
The library opens
The library is the catalogue of components your agent builds with, each with its own page. Nothing is submitted: Clipwright builds them as its own, from techniques that come up in the films made here.
- The library page has search and a filter by kind.
- What stays private to your account, and what may be generalised, is on The library.
Languages and scripts
A channel can speak up to 12 languages, in the scripts they are written in. Right-to-left languages mirror the layout, numbers can use a language’s own digits, and the check says which words or fonts are missing.
- 22 languages, including Hindi, Arabic, Persian, Hebrew, Thai, Japanese, Korean and Chinese.
- Films in several languages are arriving; today a film is in its channel’s first language.
Channels and identity
Each channel now has its own look and place: fonts in any script, colours, cards, captions, thumbnails, units and a home world. Your agent designs it from a short brief; you approve the sheet.
channel new, sync, dev, useandlistin the command line.- Bring your own font with its licence statement.
- A film pins the identity version it uses, so a change never lands mid-edit.
Elements:
element newandelement testYour agent can write its own sky, labels, world prop, camera move or table of data, try it in a short test film on your GPU, and use it in your films. Elements show on the review page and render on our GPUs and yours.
Exports on our GPUs and on your machine
Ask your agent to export. It gives you both options with their times and costs, and you choose. Credits are reserved when a render starts and come back if it fails.
renderandbenchin the command line.- 1080p, 1440p and 4K at 60 frames a second; Shorts at 1080 by 1920.
- A render on your machine resumes where it stopped.
Exact frames from your own GPU
Your agent can draw exact frames of the film as a contact sheet with
stills, on your machine’s GPU or on ours when there is none, and read them before you see anything. The review page
Watch what your agent made, frame by frame. Press N to pin a note at the playhead, and your agent fixes it and says what changed. Every version is kept, and two can be compared at the same moment.
